Learning Objectives:

English I is a high school course that starts the foundation for all forthcoming coursework. Mastery of the concepts is crucial for future success. The premise is the belief that the student is prepared for the opportunity to acquire the knowledge, concepts, and skills needed to engage in a higher level of learning.

Time Objectives:

It is imperative that the student uses class time efficiently. There will be an expectation to do work outside of class. The work schedule depends on many factors: accuracy of work, mastery of concepts, speed of completion, extracurricular obligations, and other situations that may arise.
