Our Ector County ISD Board of Trustees is working with the firm Hazard, Young, Attea, & Associates to conduct a national search for a new superintendent of schools. This page is devoted to that search.
In general terms, the ECISD Board of Trustees is seeking a superintendent who has the ability to provide leadership within an environment committed to academic excellence; college & career readiness; safe & supportive learning environments; and purposeful, timely, two-way communication.
The superintendent will serve the varied educational needs of approximately 33,000 students with a qualified and dedicated staff of nearly 4,000 across 44 campuses.
The Ector County ISD Board of Trustees seeks an individual who has demonstrated the ability to improve academic achievement in a diverse district and possesses the leadership skills required to advance this district to its next level of excellence.
