    • Centers for Children and Families Centers for Children and Families (Centers) has helped strengthen individuals and families in West Texas. The agency was founded to provide counseling for those who would otherwise be unable to afford the services that would assist them duting difficult emotional times. 432-580-7006

     

    • WIC WIC provides Federal grants to States for supplemental foods, health care referrals, and nutrition education for low-income pregnant, breastfeeding, and non-breastfeeding postpartum women, and to infants and children up to age five who are found to be at nutritional risk.

     

    • CHIP Texas families with uninsured children may be able to get health insurance through Children’s Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). Both programs offer health care benefits, including regular checkups and dental care. 
    • Food stamps/TANF The SNAP food benefits (used to be called food stamps) helps people with low incomes and resources buy the food they need for good health.
    • Texas Tech Physicians The clinic, located at 701 W. 5th in Odessa, Texas, will see anyone in need of medical care, regardless of the financial status, race, religion or ethnic background.  Patients pay for services based on their ability to pay, as determined by their income and the number of family members.   335-5333 
    • Family Health Clinic The Clinic, located at 804 Clements in Odessa Texas, will see anyone in need of medical care, regardless of the financial status, race, religion or ethnic background.
