I'm Ronda Mitchell, caseworker for the PHS Teen Parent Related Services program for ECISD. I feel that a job is similar to getting married. You see your job every day like you see your spouse and your family; and you spend a lot of time doing your job. So, I believe you have to love it just as you love your marriage and your family.

My favorite quote is "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel" - Maya Angelou. I want to make a difference in student's lives; I want students to feel empowered, prepared, and successful. Too often, we talk about change while maintaining a culture of excuses. As a caseworker, I try to help students become more responsible by removing barriers (excuses), whatever those barriers may be. I am often times weary at the end of the day,  but I am confident that I am part of the TPRS vision "Making a Difference"!
