Reagan Scholars learn the basic Scholarly Behaviors of Dr. Sandra Kaplan which are reinforced in our daily lessons, including the elements of Depth and Complexity.  These important elements add to our traditional curriculum, which increases the level of rigor and student engagement.

All Reagan students partake in a highly-engaging, rigorous curriculum through their core content classes.  Additionally, Reagan offers programs for GT scholars, as well as Bilingual and ESL students. All students are taught AVID strategies on a regular basis.

Reagan students have numerous extracurricular options including: the "Green Team" (that focuses on Recycling and developing our Green House), Robotics Team, Reagan News Team, and Reagan Ambassadors.

Pre-K students do not have testing requirements, but must adhere to all other Choice School Contract requirements throughout the year after being selected through the lottery.  K-5th grade students must qualify for admission by completing a nationally standardized achievement test.

In order to remain enrolled at Reagan, students must:

• Maintain 80% course average in all subjects
• Have no more than 10 absences
• Exhibit positive behavior
• Involve parents in school activities

• When is the enrollment entrance test offered? - During January of the year prior to admission as well as the summer before school begins.
• Do siblings get first choice if they pass the entrance exam? - Yes, siblings are granted preferential status in our choice lottery process.
• Is there tuition for PreK-4?  - Yes, PreK-4 students who do not meet income eligibility requirements will pay a tuition fee.
