Choice Schools Guide

ECISD is proud to offer families a Choice Schools Guide that highlights information about the different choice offerings available to students. 

The application for the 2024-25 school year is currently closed except for Travis and Burleson families applying to choice elementary schools.

 

Elementary School:

Families who applied for choice schools in SchoolMint will be notified if their child is eligible for the school lottery. A random computerized selection of eligible students who applied and completed all additional campus requirements will take place on March 25, 2024. Lottery results will be emailed to the family of eligible students on March 27, 2024. Parents of students must accept or decline their lottery result on or before March 29, 2024. 

The online application reopens on March 29, 2024 to continue accepting applications from the waitlist when previously accepted students decline acceptance or do not register.

Middle School:

Families who applied for choice schools in SchoolMint will be notified if their child is eligible for the school lottery. A random computerized selection of eligible students who applied and completed all additional campus requirements will take place on February 21, 2024. Lottery results will be emailed to the family of eligible students on February 21, 2024. Parents of students must accept or decline their lottery result on or before February 26, 2024. 

The online application reopens on March 29, 2024 to continue accepting applications from the waitlist when previously accepted students decline acceptance or do not register.

High School:

Families who applied for choice schools in SchoolMint will be notified if their child is eligible for the school lottery. A random computerized selection of eligible students who applied and completed all additional campus requirements will take place on January 23, 2024. Lottery results will be emailed to the family of eligible students on January 30, 2024. Parents of students must accept or decline their lottery result on or before February 2, 2024. 

The online application reopens on March 15, 2024 to continue accepting applications from the waitlist when previously accepted students decline acceptance or do not register.
