Our mission is to cultivate a supportive and inclusive learning community where every student thrives emotionally, socially, academically, and behaviorally. Through our multi-tiered systems of support, we strive to provide personalized interventions through evidence-based learning and data-based decision-making. By prioritizing emotional well-being, fostering positive relationships, and implementing evidence-based practices, we aim to empower students to reach their full potential and become confident, capable, and compassionate individuals ready to contribute positively to society.  

The purpose of MTSS within Ector County ISD is to:

  • Build a culture of excellence, empowerment, and equity.
  • Provide all students with the instruction and support needed to achieve and sustain high levels of academic success, as well as social and emotional well-being.
  • Emphasize continuous improvement to achieve our goals and ensure that our educational system supports the success of every student.

District and campus leadership teams establish structures to continually monitor student progress, with a focus on meeting the needs of students, the community, campuses, teachers, and the district. Our organizational leadership is dedicated to ensuring the fidelity of implementation and equity for all students. We view each student holistically and collaborate to drive student success through data-driven insights and actionable strategies.
