Free Half Day Pre-K 3 AND Full Day Pre-K 4 is available for children who qualify. We also offer tuition-based Pre-K for students who do not meet the eligibility qualifications.

Important documents that are needed when completing your child's registration:

• Child's Birth Certificate
• Child's Current Immunization Record
• Child's Social Security Card
• Parent's ID Card (Driver's License)
• Current Proof of Residency
• Proof of Income (Two most current pay stubs for all working members of household)

Eligibility Requirements for PreK 3 and PreK 4

ECISD will review eligibility and will offer a tuition based Pre-K program to ineligible students.

Non-qualifying families can pay via PayPams or via check for 9 monthly payments or in one lump sum.

Cost: *See PreK & Daycare Tuition Fees

• Online credit card payment (Mastercard and Discover) and Direct Withdrawal ACH from bank account through  www.paypams.com

• Personal Check or Money Order written out to ECISD and turned into your child's campus

Austin Montessori

*Austin Montessori is a Choice School and requires a different application and process.

Pre-K 3 1/2 day Hours of Instruction:

AM: 8:00-11:00

PM: 12:30-3:30

* Austin, Cameron, Alamo, Hays, Milam, and Reagan are Choice Schools and require a different application and process.  

** Zavala is a neighborhood Choice School (23-24 SY) which offers the opportunity for students outside of the attendance zone to apply for their Choice program.  

If you reside in a non-bilingual attendance zone and your student needs bilingual services, please complete a transfer application.

Your address determines the PreK, elementary, middle school, and high school campus your child attends.

With the exception of Choice Schools, transportation is available to all students enrolled in a PK program if they live outside a 2-mile radius from their home.  Transportation will NOT be provided to PK students who attend a Choice School program. For information on how to register for transportation, please visit our Transportation Dept webpage.
