Associate Superintendent of Student & School Support

Mrs. Alicia Syverson

Alicia Syverson serves as the Associate Superintendent of Student and School Support.  Mrs. Syverson was born and raised in Odessa, TX and is a product of ECISD, a graduate of Texas Tech University (Wreck 'em Tech) and the University of Texas of the Permian Basin.  She has served in the education community over a span of 22 years, having taught 4th and 6th grades in ECISD, as well as leading Noel Elementary and Cameron Dual Language Magnet Elementary as campus principal.  For three years, Mrs. Syverson served as a leadership consultant at ESC 18 working with and supporting principals and superintendents across the region.  She had the honor of working as an Executive Director of Elementary Education in MISD, but her desire to pour into the community in which she lives brought her back home to ECISD.  Mrs. Syverson is married to Mike Syverson, her high school sweetheart.  She has one daughter, Kaytlin, who will graduate this year from Texas Tech University with a degree in education.
