About Information Systems
The Information Systems Department supports classroom instruction by providing applications support and reporting services to Ector County ISD campuses and departments. Fifteen staff members provide support services for the district's business and student administrative computer systems. Some of the services provided by the business applications, student applications, and operations staff members include the following:

Assisting applications users in routine problem resolution by providing technical assistance
- Coordination and collection of PEIMS data for reporting to the Texas Education Agency, as well as data reporting to the Office of Civil Rights and EEOC
- Interfaces for supplemental software applications
- On-demand reports supplying administrators and educators information with which to make sound educational choices
- Ad hoc requests for information, including Freedom of Information Act requests
- Centralized print services, including payroll checks, finance checks, W-2s, employee contracts, report cards, attendance accounting forms, pre-printed student information cards, and student schedules
- Training and interface support for end users of the business and student administrative systems on the Texas Computer Cooperative Software (iTCCS) to enable them properly to implement and manage data entry
- Interface services with iTCCS programmers for problem resolution and enhancement requests
