I am thrilled to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year at L.B. Johnson Elementary School. At L.B. Johnson Elementary School, our Mission Statement is: We Find Success In Each one, Some way, Every day.

My name is Dr. Zenovia Crier and I am the proud principal of L.B. Johnson Elementary School. I am so excited to be here.

As the leader of our dynamic school, nothing is more important to me than collaborating with this amazing community to create a school where every scholar is successful and loved.

This is my 22nd year in education spanning from California to the great State of Texas. I have also had the pleasure of serving in the most elite organization in the world, the United States Marine Corps.

I have had the opportunity to travel the world and make friends from coast to coast. I am from a large family which consists of various cultures represented throughout the beautiful State of Louisiana. Family is very important to me, and I consider you to be a part of our L.B. Johnson family. I enjoy eating at amazing restaurants and I love traveling. Most importantly, I love reading.

I need every student to read each and every night. We have great programs like MyOn and Accelerated Reader (AR) that can assist students with their reading. The books on the MyOn and AR program know the "Just Right Book" for your little one. We also have several math programs that I know your little Knights will love!.
