Welcome to Miss Davis' 3rd Grade Class!


    Hello parents! My name is Amber Davis.  I am a graduate of the University of Texas of the Permian Basin where I received my Bachelors in Child and Family Studies.  I am currently working towards my Masters of Education in Guidance and Counseling from Angelo State University.  This is my fifth year of teaching at Noel Elementary. The first 3 years here at Noel I taught 1st grade, and this will be my second year of teaching 3rd Grade.   I am looking forward to getting to know you and your child.  I look forward to partnering with you to best serve the needs of your child.  Thank you for being active participants in your child's academic success.

    Weekly Homework:


    Spelling: Weekly Spelling Activities, Students must complete 3 spelling activites for the week.  All Spelling is due on Friday's


    Reading: Read 20 minutes daily, and complete the reading activity log


    Vocabulary: Student will have 5 vocabulary words per week to study. Vocabulary Quizzes will be given every Friday.


    Fluency:  Fluency must be practiced every night, and initialed showing that it was completed.


     Math: Math Fluency Facts

    Extra practice homework may be sent home at times (istation practice etc.)



    The planner MUST be signed DAILY.  The students will receive a weekly grade on their planners.  The students will start with 100 points every week.  10 points will be deducted daily if the planner is not signed.  The student will also be responsible for filling out the planner along with the teacher.  If the student doesn’t follow through with this responsibility 10 points will be deducted each day.


    Graded Papers:

    Graded papers will be sent home every Monday.  Parents must sign the graded papers signature page showing that they recieved all the graded papers for the week.
