Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Usbaldo Valeriano

I began my college journey in the summer of 2002 after graduating from Presidio High School. I enrolled at Sul Ross State University where I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in science (biology with focus in anatomy, entomology and zoology) and fine arts (visual arts, with focus in art theory) the summer of 2009. While attending classes at Sul Ross I worked full-time at Big Bend Regional Medical Center in Alpine Texas, and did freelancing in catering, cake decorating, graphic design, photography and my private studio doing oil painting and jewelry.

After graduating from Sul Ross, I began my teaching career at Lucy Rede Franco Middle School in Presidio Texas, my hometown, teaching Art. During this time, I decided to grow more as a person and as a leader and join and open a Toastmaster International club in the neighbor city of Ojinaga Chihuahua, formed a binational committee for the two cities and be part of the Mexican consulate team as their presenter of several topics and toastmasters.
