• Wilson and Young Parents and Students:

Welcome to 8th Grade U.S. History. This is my third year teaching U.S. History 1607 - 1877. I received my bachelor of arts in History from Texas A&M University. This year, we will discuss the European colonization of North America, the formation of the United States, the drafting and ratification of our constitution, the early years of the American Republic, the Industrial Revolution, the U.S. Civil War and a multitude of other critical topics in United States History. I am very passionate about this subject and hope to ignite a semblance of this passion in the 8th graders here at Wilson and Young. Please do not hesitate to contact me through email with any questions or concerns involving you, your student or the subject matter.
