Welcome back for the 2017-2018 school year!

I am looking forward to my second year at Odessa High School as the new ECONOMICS teacher.  This will be my fourth year as a teacher and I am excited to work with Seniors as they prepare to move onto the next stage of their adult life.  I have previously taught World Geography Academic and Pre-AP, Sociology, and U.S. History STAAR Remedial courses.  I am a 1982 graduate of Brownfield High School in Brownfield, TX and a 2012 graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, TX where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies Composite.

I have been happily married to my wife,  Lisa,  for 31 years who also teaches at OHS.  We have two daughters who are married and are teachers as well.  I bring over 35 years of life experience working in grocery, restaurant, retail, distribution, and logistical industries serving in a variety of levels from associate to high-level management positions.  I use these experiences to teach and prepare my students for the exciting futures that lie before them.
