The students represent each of ECISD’s six high schools and are selected by teachers from their respective schools based on academic excellence and outstanding accomplishment
For the 38th consecutive year, Ector County ISD hosted the Awards for Excellence, honoring some of its top graduating seniors. This year’s celebration was presented by the Education Foundation of Odessa.
The Awards for Excellence honors 45 students across nine categories of achievement. The students represent each of ECISD’s six high schools and are selected by teachers from their respective schools based on academic excellence and outstanding accomplishment in their category. Students share the evening with their parents and a favorite teacher. School leaders, district leaders, school board members, and community sponsors are included in the event providing a microcosm of the support it takes to produce successful students.
