It may look like play but these precocious pre-k kids at Burleson Early Education Center are exploring the world and developing essential social, emotional, and physical skills. All in one shopping trip!
Burleson EEC unveiled its new H-E-B student store, a first-of-its-kind venture. Funded by a grant from H-E-B the Burleson team replicated a store inside the school. This morning the store opened for business (play). There is lots of talking and language development happening here; lots of ‘money’ being paid at the register and talking about numbers and math. A real-world experience brought right into the classroom!
