ECISD announces campus Outstanding Teachers for 2024-25
These 42 honorees exemplify the mission of inspiring and challenging every student to be prepared for success and to be adaptable in an ever-changing society.
Ector County ISD is proud to announce this year’s 42 campus Outstanding Teachers. These are teachers who live out our Vision and Mission: “Believing OUR Students are THE Future, the mission of Ector County ISD is to inspire and challenge every student to be prepared for success and to be adaptable in an ever-changing society.”
Each school takes nominations that consider three areas: Professionalism, Campus Service/Leadership, and Student Performance. Principals review all nominations before an honoree is selected.
From these 42 Outstanding Teachers, three are selected as finalists for the elementary teacher of the year and three are selected as finalists for secondary teacher of the year (they are designated by **). After interviews with a panel of volunteers, one Elementary Teacher of the Year and one Secondary Teacher of the Year are selected.
