STRATEGIC PLAN PROJECTS 

  • Strengthen Professional Learning Communities

    Implement Professional Learning Communities with fidelity following the Relay Model in Data Driven Instruction process, develop TEKS know/show, and engage in Observation/Feedback in order to build the capacity of teachers.
  • Implement Personalized Professional Learning

    Ector County ISD will grow all staff to be highly effective to provide a quality educational experience for all students. By engaging in job-embedded, personalized professional learning. Staff will add to their skill set and be supported to promote staff retention and create pathways for advancement.
  • Cultivate Talent Pipelines

    Ector County ISD will develop systems to strengthen the qualified pool of potential candidates for positions within ECISD thus reducing openings and the cost and time to hire.
  • Incorporate Strategic Staffing and Compensation

    Ector County ISD will use strategic staffing to optimize the current and future workforce of the district while also embedding strategic compensation to attract, retain and grow talented employees.

  • Develop a System of Support for National Board Certification

    Provide growth and development opportunities for instructional staff by facilitating and supporting eligible staff through the process of obtaining National Board Certification.
