Instructional Technology Specialist
Soon after attending Sul Ross State University earning a BA in English and minor in political science, I began teaching in a computer assisted learning classroom in Fort Stockton. Eight years later, I became an Instructional Support Teacher at Midland Lee Senior High. While at Lee, I acquired a MEd Reading at Sul Ross State University. I taught at the Academy at Ector Jr High in addition to being a specialist now totaling more than 6-years in ECISD. I spent a year at a Juvenile Detention facility in the Fort Worth area, and each year my career had evolved in computer technology while always having a computer lab environment in my classroom. I now hold certifications in English, government, technology applications, and special education as well as a principal certification.
Today, I enjoy serving Ector County ISD as a technology specialist in the Instructional Services department : I assist professionals with the understanding of various software technologies and professional development for instruction utilizing these technologies.
