School Nutrition opens Summer Food Program

With summer right around the corner, it is time to think about keeping children eating health while school is out.  Ector County Independent School District provides free meals to children during the summer.

This summer, meals will be served at the locations below.  Dates and times vary for each site.  There are no income requirements or registration.  Any child under age 18 may come to eat.  For more information , contact ECISD School Nutrition at 432.456.9749 or visit ectorcountyisd.org/Domain/31.

Each year, the US Department of Agriculture partners with local organizations like Ector County Independent School District to provide free meals to children when school is out for the summer.  For more information about the national Summer Food Service Program, visit http://www.fns.usda.gov/cnd/summer.
